It’s been an eventful year since Eynsham Pre-School achieved an “Outstanding” Ofsted rating in April 2016. Our core provision of high-quality early years education and care has continued alongside an expansion of our programme of special activities.
This year, Deputy Manager Jo Chaundy will complete her Level 3 Forest School Leader training, enabling us to double our weekly sessions in the woods whilst gardening sessions, led by Claire Malin, have seen the children growing sunflowers and potatoes and learning all about our natural environment.
Music and movement sessions have been going down a storm with our young learners and we’re looking forward to another series of exciting experiences from providers such as Zoolab at the beginning of the new school year.
We’re offering the full free 30 hours now provided by government to eligible families and are working towards extending our hours to offer before and after-school care from January 2018.
Several new committee members have joined in recent months, bringing a raft of fresh ideas and ways for parents and community members to get involved and support our school.
We’re very sadly saying goodbye to team members Nikki Davis, Emma Talmage and Stephanie Puffitt, who are moving on to new adventures but they’ve promised us they’ll come back to visit us very soon!
Places are still available for September, so do get in touch with manager Kelly Harris by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org if you’re interested in joining our very happy setting.
